Atletico Madrid will be seeking revenge when they face Athletic Bilbao in a
La Liga match at the Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano on 27 April.

The Mattress Makers succumbed to a 2-0 loss to Deportivo Alaves away on 21 April as their two-match unbeaten run in the Spanish top-flight came to an end.
Atletico have won two of their last three home games in the league while the other match ended in a defeat at the Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano.
Meanwhile, Bilbao were held to a 1-1 draw by Granada CF at home on 19 April and they are winless in their last three La Liga matches.
The Lions have lost two of their last three away matches in the league while the other game ended in a victory on the road.

Atletico have no suspension worries coming into this game, but Thomas Lemar and Memphis Depay are currently injured.
Bilbao, on the other hand, have no injury worries at the moment, but they will be without the services of Oscar De Marcos who is suspended.

"It was a tough game for us right from the start, but we kept trying to create goalscoring situations. We got the equaliser, but they did a good job defensively and we couldn't put away the chances we had," Bilbao manager Ernesto Valverde said after his side's draw with Granada.
"It's true that they closed ranks and it was difficult for us. But we thought that with our drive we were going to be able to win, but it wasn't to be. Perhaps we were rushing and although that can be a strength, it becomes a flaw if you're not calm.
"We're the kind of team that pushes a lot and thanks to that we've managed comebacks, dominated our opponents and subdued them. "Sometimes that comes at the cost of not being very sharp at certain times. This year we've been clinical in quite a few games but not today."

Bilbao beat Atletico 2-0 in their last La Liga meeting which took place at the San Mames on 16 December 2023.
The win ended the Lions' two-match winless run in the league against Mattress Makers who had registered two successive wins.
